OUTLINE TERMS & CONDITIONS

DRIVER

Driver must be between the age of 28 and 65 years of age
Must have held a full driving licence for a minimum period of 3 years
Licences must be offence and accident free with the exception of minor speeding or parking offences.
Drivers must produce complete driving licence (with paper part) passport and a utility bill dated within the last 3 months.

INSURANCE

We the hire company will provide comprehensive insurance cover. The hirer will be responsible for the first £1000 of any accidental damage during the hire period. £500 of which must be left with the hire co. as a bond and will be returned within five working days after completion of the hire provided the motorhome comes back in the sam condition as it was in when collected by the hirer.


MOTORHOME COLLECTION & RETURN

Motorhomes will be available between 3pm & 6pm on the first day of hire and must be returned by 10-30am on the last day of hire with a full tank of fuel and toilet emptied if these conditions are not complied with a £50 charge for emptying toilet and the cost of filling fuel tank will be deducted from £500 bond. Late return of the motorhome will be charged at the rate of £25 per hour.

DAMAGED MOTORHOME

In the event of a Motorhome being returned damaged to such an extent that it cannot be rehired we the company (Erskine bridge Motorhome hire ltd.) reserve the right to supply an alternative vehicle as near as possible to the spec of the original agreed Motorhome. If however we cannot locate another Motorhome or the client wont accept the alternative the company are obliged to refund only the deposit or any money paid in advance and we will not be held responsible for the cost of travel or accommodation in this instance nor shall we be liable in any way for the client being unable or unwilling to commence or continue with the hire Motorhomes are required to be returned in a clean state with a full diesel tank, empty Cassette toilet and waste water tanks. Failure to do so will incur a penalty of £50.00. Any accident or damage must be reported immediately to the company to enable us to order spare parts or take what ever action is necessary. The company must be informed of any traffic violations, parking tickets, speeding offences etc.

LEGAL LIABILITIES

Should the hirer commit any road traffic offences while driving the motorhome the said hirer will be liable for any costs incurred this includes parking fines and any offence committed must be reported to the hire company at the end of the hire. Should the hirer be involved in a road traffic accident he/she must inform the hire company to arrange damage repair.

PETS & SMOKING

The hire company operates a strictly no pets and no smoking policy if the hire company considers either of these rules have not been observed a charge of £100 will be applied to enable the vehicle to be extensively cleaned.

AREA OF TRAVEL

The hirer can drive the motorhome anywhere on the UK mainland but not in Northern Ireland the Irish Republic or Mainland Europe.

AVAILABILITY

Should the motorhome be unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of the hire company i.e accidental damage the hire company will do all in their power to find an alternative vehicle if this is not suitable the hire company will refund all money paid by the hirer and the hirer shall have no further claim against the hire company.

COMPANY RIGHTS

Erskine Bridge Motorhome Hire Ltd. Reserves the right to refuse hire to any person they consider unsuitable. All rental agreements are subject to the above terms and conditions being accepted by the hirer.

DEPOSIT
A deposit of 10% of total daily hire whichever is the greater, is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 10% of the daily hire tariff times the number of days of the hire. The full balance is required a minimum of 35 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, insurances and any additional equipment must be paid for in full prior to commencement of the hire.
